What is Young Church?
Young Church is a weekly ministry that meets during the school year for 6th-12th Grade teens. Our Middle School Students meet separately from the High Schoolers to be able to minister and focus on the desires and needs of each age group. The goal of all our youth ministries is to form lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ.

When does Young Church meet?
6th - 8th Grade meets Sunday mornings September - April
Doors open at 11:00am
Programming begins at 11:10am
Pick up is at 12:10am

9th - 12th Grade meets Sunday afternoons September - April
1:30pm - 3:00pm

Where does Young Church meet?
We will gather in the upstairs Faith Formation Areas.

What about Confirmation? Where do I register?
You will fill out the normal Young Church Registration form. There will be part of the form that asks if your teen is going to begin preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Please select YES! This is how we will know they are in Sacramental Preparation, there is NOT a separate registration form.

Why is Young Church important?
Teens fall away from Christ and His Church because Christianity seems like fairy tales and simple-minded fluff. When we deny them the full rigor (truth, doctrine, discipline, etc.) and the full vigor (the Spirit, the sacraments, the fellowship, etc.), we are failing in our role as parents, catechists, and evangelists.
